Accelerated drying is achieved by means of our custom HI-IR technology, integrated within a single IR unit operating at a max line speed of 7.2 meters per minute.

*Heywood Industrial’s HI-IR technology was optimised to cure Rubio Monocoat WoodCream at Industry leading speeds. This technology is also suitable to cure and accelerate the drying of many other timber coating products, but guidance should be taken up directly with the timber coating manufacturer concerning Infrared curing recommendations and guidelines. We are happy to work with your supplier directly to discuss these parameters.

*This system regulates the feeding speed by means of sensor to allow one steady finishing line, even though the spray line operates at more than double the speed of the drying module. This is a large cost saving to the customer as traditionally the only other way to match the speeds of both units is to increase the amount of IR drying chambers, this would significantly raise the cost.
